Registered in 1982, Kasawari Motors Sdn Bhd is a company specialising in the import and sales of pre-owned vehicles from Japan and United Kingdom, founded by Allahyarham Dato’ Seri Paduka Dr Hj Hassan Bin Dato’ Hj Omar.

Allahyarham Dato’ Seri Paduka Dr Hj Hassan got involved in the pre-owned luxury car sales industry in 1982 using his own Authorised Permit (AP) obtained from the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), licensing him to sell five units per month. With this small figure, he worked hard at his business, managing to turn a lucrative profit.

The company garnered a strong reputation, andAllahyarham Dato’ Seri Paduka Dr Hj Hassan received accreditation from MITI, who increased the company’s AP limit. He further strived to develop his company with the addition of luxury imports from the United Kingdom, Japan and Germany which included models from Mercedes Benz, BMW, Honda, Toyota and various other makes.

Kasawari Motors Sdn Bhd commenced operations at No. 58, Jalan Sutera, Taman Sentosa, Johor Bahru, growing rapidly until the year 1996 when operations shifted to its current place of business at No. 22A Jalan Petaling, Kawasan Perindustrian Dato’ Onn, Larkin, Johor Bahru.
